Colorful Equinox Witches' Sweeper - Virtual Workshop - March 1 & 8
Please read all information thoroughly!
This workshop will take place on Zoom on two separate days; on the first day, Saturday March 1 at 10am PST, we’ll learn to attach the bristle to the stick. This portion will take about 2 hours. The second day, Saturday March 8 at 10am PST, we will stitch and weave our brooms. This portion can take up to three hours. In the days between, your bristle will dry before stitching.
In this workshop, you'll have the opportunity to craft a full-sized, colorful Sweeper featuring a specially woven hurl around the handle—a brand-new technique I’ve recently developed and am excited to teach for the very first time!
This workshop also marks the debut of a unique, vibrant color mix created exclusively for a full-sized broom.
The Spring Equinox, also known as Ostara in some traditions, is a time of balance, renewal, and the blossoming of life. With day and night in perfect harmony, it’s a season that celebrates growth, fertility, and the return of warmth and light after the long winter. Brooms have long been associated with clearing away old energy to make way for the new, making this the perfect craft for embracing the season's themes of transformation and vitality.
Join me in welcoming the magic of the Spring Equinox with this creative two-weekend workshop, where you’ll weave intention, color, and tradition into your very own handcrafted broom. (Color mix still to be determined)
